Here is my eight-page “Menu of Musical Necessities and Options to Assist Liturgy Planning Groups in Making Their Musical, Liturgical, and Pastoral Judgments as They Apply the Principle of Progressive Solemnity to Music at Eucharist with Adults in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles.” I have put together every reference I am aware of for all the music at Mass from the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), third typical edition, the Lectionary for Mass: Introduction (LMI), second typical edition, the Ordo Missæ (Order of the Mass), the MR2002 [Missale Romanum], third typical edition, the Misal Romano [Mexico], Ceremonial of Bishops, Musicam Sacram, Preparing and Celebrating the Paschal Feasts, Music in Catholic Worship; Liturgical Music Today; the Ordo Cantus Missæ (the introduction to the Roman Gradual), the Simple Gradual, Passim Quæritur; The Day on Which We Gather; Gather Faithfully Together, and the Documents of the Liturgy, 1963-1979: Conciliar, Papal, and Curial Texts. I offer it as a resource but I know my thirst for detail will give some a headache.

Please notify me of any errors you notice and please advise me about how I can make these materials more user-friendly.
